Clarifying or Complicating?: Understanding Older Adults' Engagement with Real-World XAI in E-Commerce
About Me
I study how emerging technologies such as AI, LLMs, and VR reshape the ways people understand themselves, relate to others, and communicate within society. My research focuses on moments where people want to reflect, express themselves, or take othersβ perspectives, but existing systems do not adequately support these needs.
Working at the intersection of HCI, Communication and Media, and Psychology, I design and evaluate technology-mediated communication systems that make these processes more tangible, interactive, and inclusive. I build prototypes, conduct mixed-methods studies tailored to each research question, and use both qualitative and quantitative approaches to generate insights that can inform the design of real-world systems.
